Welcome to my site about Hand Made Pens. Some of you may know that I am also a Pyrographic Artist - I found loads of driftwood that washes up on the Connemara coastline on the shores of Ireland.

I thought what can I use this for?

Hand Made Pens came to me and so I began collecting the driftwood and drying it out, recycling the driftwood into pens on a midi-lathe.

Like the pyrography I find turning out pens theraputic and am always amazed at the way the wood turns out with all the unique grain markings. They make ideal gifts for friends and relatives alike.
